As a TV presenter, qualified journalist, emcee & ambassador, over the past 6 years Lydia Pedrana has established diverse career in the Australian television & entertainment industry.
Perhaps best known as the Australian Ambassador for Lottoland, Lydia currently presents and co-produces advertisements for the brand which feature across all major Australian television networks and radio stations. Within this role, Lydia has also been involved with charities including the McGrath Foundation, The Royal Flying Doctors Service and The Ella Foundation. She has also made appearances on Channel Nine’s Today Extra and emceed events for the NRL's Manly Warringah Sea Eagles.
Commercially, Lydia featured as the face of QANTAS A330 Flat Laying Bed campaign, appeared in opening titles of the 2016 season of Say Yes To The Dress for Discovery Channel and had a cameo role in Network Ten's I Will Survive.
Also a qualified journalist, Lydia previously worked as a Segment Producer for one of the country’s highest rating breakfast show, Channel Nine's Today Show. She has also had experience in the radio world, producing traffic and news for NOVA 96.9 and broadcasting breakfast news bulletins for 2SER.
Her further journalism experience includes being a fortnightly columnist for The Dubbo Weekender (Lydia’s home town) and writing for the Rugby League Player Magazine.
Lydia has also worked as a Senior Television Publicist at Catherine Lavelle Public Relations. In this role, Lydia worked on publicity campaigns for; Chris Peckover's thriller Better Watch Out, Abe Forsythe's black comedy feature Down Under, The Code (ABC), Janet King Series 2 (ABC), Love Child 2 & 3 (Channel Nine), Outback ER (ABC) and both series of Stop Laughing ... this is serious (ABC).
Born and bred in the NSW regional town of Dubbo, Lydia left home at age 18 to pursue her love for ballet at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
